Template import instructions
Wagon Wheel v4
December 22, 2025

1. Name your template file "EISOutput.csv"
   You can have other text or numbers (e.g. a date) in the filename but it has to contain "EISOutput"
   Make sure it is a csv file -- not an Excel (.xlsx) file.

2. Save it in the Templates folder of the Wagon Wheel.

3. There is already a file in the Templates folder called "EISOutput_sample template.csv"
   Make sure your template follows the same format as the sample template, including column names,
   and make sure your template has the second row (with the "na" and "0.1" values) because this helps the templates
   import correctly.

4. Move the sample file to another location out of the templates folder before you import your template.

5. In the Wagon Wheel, on the Control Panel, click "Import Input Templates"
   On the next screen, enter your name, select your agency, and click "Import Templates"

6. When you run the tool, select "SLT Template Inputs" on the Control Panel to make sure the tool uses your
   template inputs in the calculations.
